Well, that was a short trip. It rained every day I was in Seattle, most of them continuously. Thursday was mostly fine, so I hired a car with a friend and drove down to Mt Rainier only to discover that it was closed due to flooding. Agh! At least Snoqualmie Falls (which we visited on the way) was open, and quite impressive due to all the rain.
Also, United Airlines sucks.

Rainy Seattle
So I’m in rainy Seattle for OSDI’06. The conference ends today, so I’m hoping the rain stops long enough to do some sightseeing. Here’s the spectacular view from the hotel room:
I haven’t had many other opportunities to take photos, but there are a few from the Museum of Flight (where the conference dinner was held) and the enormous M-21 Blackbird over here.
